This is a lovely 22kt gold plated pendant necklace inspired by the traditional temple jewellery. Temple jewellery is known for its intricate detailing which is reflected beautifully in this necklace's peacock inspired motif on the pendant. The depiction of the bird in temple jewellery is sginifcant one - as not only is the bird an artistic choice but also reflects spiritual, devotional and ceremonial association. The necklace uses the metal embossing technique which is very typical of temple jewellery which enables the detailed designs and depth to the jewellery.
